This photoshoot celebrates 10 years of love, Auður and Sigursteinn have been married for almost five years and next month they have been together for 10 years, and given that they are still pretty young it is kind of amazing.
Birta suggested we would come to this place on the north coast we had never been to before and knew nothing about, to shoot her and Jón Atli's story. So we packed our camera gear in to our small car and drove into the unknown, not having a clue what to expect.
We got to take part in this beautiful autumn wedding last month. It was a beautiful day, with beautiful weather, a beautiful couple, a beautiful church and beautiful light, in short almost perfect, except for the near freezing temperatures.
